What is this anyway?

Corey Rust here for Envi Adventures.

I often get asked why I started Envi Adventures?

“Isn’t hard?”

“Isn’t there a lot of rules?”

“Do you think people are going to like the flights?”

Yes. Yes. And…yes.

Those are three good reasons why I am. I like the challenge. I like the development of an idea on paper and seeing it transform into something real after some hard work, sacrifice, and a bit of creativity.

In aviation, there are a lot of rules. Most make good sense, some less, but all are there for safety. Sometimes I overhear conversations from other people involved in aviation that want to bend the rules in their favor and frankly, it really annoys me. Envi Adventures follows the rules and obeys the law so everyone stays safe. There is no other and certainly no better way to do it. I want people to know that they’re in good hands when they fly with us. Good experience and good service makes for a superb flight.

Lastly, are people going to like the flights? I can’t speak for others, but so far yes. In fact, certain words that have been used include Brilliant, Ace, Wicked, and from our German friends, Unglaublich (Incredible in a English).

Sure, some may not enjoy it. Someone will probably complain. We’re human. I get it. Sometimes we just have bad days. But if you walk away from an Envi Adventures flight smiling: Mission Accomplished.

If you don’t enjoy it, let us know then and there. We want to make it right. If you don’t have a good time flying with us, we’re not doing our job.

I started Envi Adventures to share my passion of flight and of my home city and environment. I grew up here and it’s a place I genuinely love. Hopefully in your journeys through this magnificent part of Oregon, you’ll grow to love it too.
