Not new. Just improved.

Hey, Corey Rust here for Envi Adventures.

Winston Churchill once said that “To improve is to change; to perfect is to change often.” Change is something a lot of people can’t accept, or even go as far as won’t accept. I admit it, I have a hard time with change too. It’s not that I’m a misty eyed nostalgist that yearns for days long past. I don’t know what it is. Probably laziness.

But one change I can get behind is the changes you’ll see at Envi Adventures. We’ve recently revealed and introduced a new look on our airplane. And if you recall what it looked like before, this is a change I can get behind. And that’s good, because I designed and paid for it.

Unless you’re color blind, the airplane has a predominately blue theme. Some might say that green would have been appropriate to reflect the environment around where we fly. I get it, but hear me out.

Blue is quite a powerful color. Blue is symbolic for the sky and the sea. It’s a color that often symbolizes trust, confidence, loyalty, integrity, tranquility, and calmness. All good things.

On the side of the airplane you’ll notice trees in the foreground with faded hills in the background representing the Columbia River Gorge. It was designed to be inviting and colorful in the skies over Portland.

We want Envi Adventures to be a brand people associate with and for people to say “That’s a cool company.” We’re getting there.

I personally am very proud at how this airplane looks and exceptionally proud of the extraordinary people who have helped make these first two months of flying excellent. Additionally, I’m thankful to all of you for your enthusiasm for what we’re doing in Troutdale, Oregon as we fly over Portland, the Columbia River Gorge, and Mt. Hood.

So, look up when you hear a plane. It might be us. If it’s blue, probably is. Better yet, be IN the airplane and check out what we’re doing over Oregon.
