Change of Flight Routing
We do everything in our ability to complete a flight as advertised, but if there are any safety concerns due to weather conditions or other scenarios out of our control, your pilot may decide the conditions are not suitable to complete your flight as described.
For example, if you booked the Trifecta, Coastal Cruise, Quicksand Triangle, Mountain Loop, or Volcano flight, and the day of your flight is cloudy, we may alter the flight and complete the trip with a slightly different routing. If conditions are not safe for flying at all, then it’s not worth the risk and we will reschedule your flight experience for a future date and time. Please see the chart below for examples of alternate routes (these routes are not absolute, and may be altered):
Original Route | Alternate Route |
The Volcano | Mountain Loop or combination of Quicksand Triangle or Figure 8 |
Mountain Loop | The Volcano or combination of Quicksand Triangle or Figure 8 |
The Trifecta | Other mountain peaks or Coastal Cruise route |
Coastal Cruise | The Trifecta route or altered Oregon Coast route |
Quicksand Triangle | The Figure 8 route |
Rerouting a flight does not happen very often, but when they do, please know that it only occurs when it’s considered unsafe.
Please note, per our cancellation policy, if a customer chooses to cancel or reschedule instead of take the offered alternate routing that is equal in duration and/or value due to weather conditions or other uncontrollable circumstances, that flight/reservation is no longer valid for a refund.
