When it rains…go outside

Like it or not, rain is a regular in Oregon. I think that’s pretty well known and established. But just because it rains doesn’t mean you just sit inside and mope about. In Portland, our summers are usually incredibly pleasant with temperatures rolling over that 100º mark (thankfully). That’s not to say it doesn’t get…

Coming together for a great cause.

On Thursday May 23rd, we hosted our summer kickoff party with Dollar For. If you don’t know who they are, that’s fine, but you should get acquainted.   People were excited to get the chance to go on a flight for $15 per person, and that excitement brought people an hour early…which is always a very good sign that the event will be a good success. From 5:45 on, people kept rolling in purchasing flights, raffle tickets, and dipping their card for a great cause– raising money for Dollar For. Dollar For helps to forgive medical debts for people in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Jared Walker is the man behind the cause and he has helped raise nearly a million dollars in 2019! Way to go, Jared. On Thursday night, we added $8,000 to that bucket, and we couldn’t…

Even when the weather sucks…

Believe it or not, it tends to rain in Portland from time to time. I know…shocking. But that doesn’t (usually) stop us from doing what we do. Just for your information, we have a 94% completion rate of all of our flights. The only reason we have to cancel/reschedule is due to high winds or…

Portland Basketball + Integrity

Hey there, Corey with Envi Adventures. Every year about this time, the city of Portland, and the Pacific Northwest as a whole get excited about warmer weather, longer days, and outdoor activities. But, for many, they also get excited about Portland basketball i.e. the Portland Trailblazers. Whether they’re on the court at the Moda Center…

Why we’re excited about Summer

We’re going into our third summer since opening this business, and about this time every year, I get a bit antsy for two reasons: I’m excited, and I’m totally nervous. I’m excited for the possibility to have a record setting summer of flying but nervous that people don’t care anymore, or people won’t find us…

Why Oregon is so special

Corey here from Envi Adventures. Just yesterday I was flying back to Portland from Dallas, Texas and as we began our descent in to Portland I was looking out the window at the eastern Oregon wilderness below. Now, I know Oregon “wilderness” is nothing compared to rugged places like Alaska, or Canada. But, I was…

New year, new views.

Hi there, Corey Rust with Envi Adventures. 2017 was a great year. Met a lot of great people, shared some great sunsets with people, and enjoyed beautiful Oregon weather through the Columbia River Gorge, over Downtown Portland, and up toward Mt. Hood. But that year is over, and we’re into 2018…as I’m sure you already…
